1. FerrroSilicon is an iron alloy composed of iron and silicon. FeSi is a silicon alloy made of coke, steel dandruff, quartz (or silicon) as raw materials. Because silicon and oxygen are easy to synthesize silicon, silicon iron is often used as a decarculator during steelmaking. At the same time, due to SiO2, a large amount of heat is released. While dehydration, it is also beneficial to improving the temperature of the steel water. At the same time, silicon iron can also be used as alloy elements. It is widely used in low alloy structure steel, spring steel, bearing steel, heat -resistant steel and electrical silicon steel. Silicon iron is often used as a reducing agent in the iron alloy production and chemical industry. Among these uses, the steelmaking industry, the casting industry and the iron alloy industry are the largest users of silicon iron. They consume more than 90%of silicon iron. Among the silicon iron of various brands, 75%silicon iron is currently widely used. In the steelmaking industry, 1T steel consumes about 3-5kgG75%silicon iron for every 1T steel.
 
2. Silicon calcium, also known as calcium silicon, 22-35%calcium, 60 to 65%silicon. YB 525-65 stipulates that calcium content is not less than 31%, 28%, and 24%, respectively. It is mainly used as a breeding agent for cast iron. The restoration ability of silicon calcium alloy is very strong, and it is also used as a deoxidant for high -quality steel. Because calcium is very active at the temperature of steelmaking and the effect is not easy to stabilize, it is advisable to add some kind of slowing agent. As a deoxidant of steel, most of the silicon-calcium-钡 alloy or silicon-calcium-钡-aluminum alloy, or silicon-calcium-manganese alloy. With silicon, lime and coke as raw materials, silicon calcium alloys obtained in the atmosphere of 1500-1800 degrees.
 
3. Silicon carbide is a kind of inorganic object. The chemical formula is SIC. It is made of quartz sand, petroleum coke (or coal coke), and wood chips (when producing green silicon carbide). Silicon carbide produced in China is divided into two types: black carbide and green silicon carbide. It uses: mainly for functional ceramics, advanced refractory materials, abrasives and metallurgical raw materials
